I have a Web2Py app deployed through the TKL hub. I'm trying to migrate from sqlight to mysql. I have been using webmin with no problem. The system was not recognizing my mysql password set at configuration time so I went through webmin and changed it. I tried rebooting - but the server would not reboot. So I just shut it down and restarted. After the restart, I can not get into webmin - it times out with the error message: "This web page is not available"

Any ideas?

Thanks, James

I have the same problem was only after a reboot I was able to come, but nothing changed. The settings remain the same.

It's best to start your own thread as it's unlikely that your problem is related to what has been discussed here. Note that starting a new thread requires you to be registered and logged in.

As a general rule, unless there is a security related issue, updating Webmin via the UI is strongly discouraged. We package Webmin and will update the version available via the apt repo on the rare occasions that there are security issues. This is because we can control the apt package, but if you update direct from upstream, then we have no way to vet what it does (so can't ensure that it won't break - as it appears to have done for you).

Also, I'll need some more specific details to be able to help. The output of netstat ('netstat -tlnp') would be useful, plus the the results of 'systemctl status webmin' and 'systemctl status webmin@stunnel'.
