In other words yes it can. But the question is how hard is it to upgrade? That I can not answer as i have no experience.

If you have a look at the OTRS wiki, there is a tutorial on installing v3 to Ubuntu 10.04. As 10.04 is the basis of TKL v11.x the steps should be pretty much the same although you will probably need to get rid of the old one. I think it's installed from Ubuntu repos so it'll be easy to get rid of. You may even find it easier to start with TKL LAMP and go from there rather than removing stuff from TKL OTRS.

Let me know if you get stuck, I may be able to help.

How do I turn off http access to the site and just allow https?

Thank you,

Tom

That's not my forte, but I know it can be done. I'll head you in the right direction though. It should be acheived via the Apache config files - /etc/apache2 I've had a brief bash at this before but I couldn't work it out easily. It's easy to just block http access but I was hoping to make hhtp auto redirect to https. I'd suggest that you have a look on the Ubuntu forums (or google) and I'm sure you'll find some more pointers.

If you get it all sorted and working, be great if you'd post back! :)
