Personally I prefer to use a hypervisor OS (my favourite is ProxmoxVE) and then install the various TKL appliances as VMs. Although it means a bit of redundancy, that has its advantages IMO. Also unless you have old/low spec hardware it is a much better use of resources IMO (allows for testing of other OS etc).
