How do you personally use TK core?

LeMOGOP's picture

Out of curiosity, if you happen to use the plain TK core appliance, could you please tell use what you use it for?
I'm curious as to why someone would just use the plain core, but I'm sure there are plenty of people using it.
Please tell us how you personally use it.

Thank you.

Owncloud server

Installing owncloud (owncloud.org) on the lamp pre-built appliance seems to make more sense. However, I wanted to use the new version 12 base of debian. So, I built my own on core. When the lamp appliance comes out on debian, I will most likely switch over to that.

Or you might get really lucky

And the devs may even release an ownCloud appliance! :)

I use it mostly for apply patches

Core is the most reliable environment to use when applying TKLPatches as there is minimal stuff running so reduces the chances of stuff interfering with the patching process.
