Domain Controller Appliance - domain admin?

mounirg's picture

I'm from germany, so first of all: sorry for my bad english!

I just set up the Domain Controller Appliance and joined my testdomain - everything worked fine.

But if i use the default administrator account (pw = turnkey) and sign on with that account to a client computer, I do not have admin-rights.

I also tried to login as root (with no password) but no admin-privileges.

What do I have to do to get admin-rights on an Win XP client?

Greetings from Germany,

admin rights

create a smbuser in turnkey dc

log in with a local pc admin account,  then open computer management from controlpanel. in users and goups.  from there add your dc smbuser you created to the administrators group. now when they login they will have admin rights on the local pc
