Duplicity is killing my red mine appliance

steve_3's picture

I confess to an error of judgement - in that I resized my Redmine appliance down to 8Gb -

but since redmine itself only using 500Mb of data I thought that would be OK

Trouble is every 2 or 3 days the whole server is full, disk is at 100% and it falls over

If I delete the duplicity folder (usually 4Gb or so) then it runs for a few more days -

What about a cron job to clean the folder?

If you set up a cron job to clean up the folder every couple of days then that should do it shouldn't it? Just be careful though when that runs as you won't want it to interfere with your daily backups (I would assume that you have them enabled - otherwise duplicity shouldn't be filling the folder...)
