Hi,

I just installed OTRS appliance as a CT on PVE, made post-install steps and trying to open OTRS but getting Access denied message from mysql:

Access denied for user 'otrs'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Since this is my firtst use of Turnkey and OTRS too, I don't know where to look for config files, imho I may set the new password and correct it in the OTRS database config. Am I right?

Hope this is trivial, I found Turnkey as a great idea! Thanks!

Somehow it's working now, probably I had to do a reboot after postinstallation steps.

Necesitas editar tu archivo /opt/otrs/Kernel/Config.pm

# The database host
    $Self->{DatabaseHost} = 'localhost';

    # The database name
    $Self->{Database} = 'otrs';

    # The database user
    $Self->{DatabaseUser} = 'xxx';

    # The password of database user. You also can use bin/otrs.CryptPassword.pl
    # for crypted passwords
    $Self->{DatabasePw} = 'xxx';

Hola Javier,

Ejemplo

    # The database host
    $Self->{DatabaseHost} = 'localhost';

    # The database name
    $Self->{Database} = 'otrs';

    # The database user
    $Self->{DatabaseUser} = 'userotrs';

    # The password of database user. You also can use bin/otrs.CryptPassword.pl
    # for crypted passwords
    $Self->{DatabasePw} = '123456';

Seria algo asi!

Hi Javier, hi Martin,

as I'm OP of this issue, let me tell you a few things:

  1. As I described in my reply, problem has been solved after reboot.
  2. I don't speak your language, so please continue in English as I started.
  3. You are necro-posting, this thread is from 2013!
  4. Probably you are chatting about some different things so please don't post off-topic and open your own thread for your issue, this is how the things are going on support forums.

Thanks for understanding, cheers, Vaclav.
