Hi! i' had just try the turnkey fileserver appliance and i have some problem with the user permission.
I create a read only user using the admin account in the fileserver and when i try to log in with the new user he can only navigate and view the file in the directory, the download on any file give me this error:

I'm getting an extraordinarily large samba.log.old file which is taking up all disk space on my install of the Turnkey PDC. I have 200GB allocated to it with 33GB used normally. Then the samba.log.old file appears roughly after a week of removing it taking up all the rest of the disk space. Has anyone got this problem and fixed it? Any help much appreciated!
I want to use the Wordpress virtual appliance but need it to be resilient against a server failure. Is there a way of sharing services e.g. mysql, mail between two 'front-end' servers?
I have installed the DC appliance on my server. After pointing my XP Testbox tot the right WINS server, I have got a annoying problem. When I type in "MYDOM" in the computername properties Domain field, it pop ups directly with the credintials field, when I fill in administrator + password, it takes a while and then: boom! The domain controller does not exist or can not be contacted. Strange is, I can ping the IP of te server, and I can ping my computers IP from the server side. But I can't ping the hostname! (PDC.local) Any ideas?
