I have two micro appliances up and running perfectly fine. I picked them up using the Amazon Marketplace where it says that the cost was 0.02 per hour. Today I enabled S3 backups in the Hub for both of them for the cost of pennies (pretty good!).

Now the dashboard suggests (obligue?) to pick a plan to complete some 37% of my tasks remaining. What should I do? Am I on trial period?

To be honest I'm quite happy with the things I've got now. Is it ok to leave it as is? Or am I going to be charged extra in, say, 15 days?

Hi. When I look in my Apache error log, I am seeing the following error:

RSA server certificate is a CA certificate (BasicConstraints: CA == TRUE !?)

They seem to happen around the time I try accessing my home server from work. I never get through from work and usually get a server not found error. I am using the LAMP installation in a virtual machine. How do I fix this error though?

One major component that I'm trying to add to TKL LAMP Stack is support for SQLite to create localized low-footprint databases for local tasks.

But it does not seem that the issue was resolved.

Hi: I spent a lot of time creating a query, and it doesn´t return an error, but I run it and doesn´t start. I left it for 23 hours (more than enough, I think) and it didn´t get one single row. I checked with other program (Pentaho spoon, that lets you follow the operation).
The query has a lot of joins, but I wrote some with more, with no problems.
I´d really appreciate any advise on which part is slowing it down

Could you explain for a newbie how to install the cacti appliance ?

- I downloaded the "turnkey-lamp-12.0-squeeze-x86.iso" file

- I installed it in a VM (qemu-kvm, debian squeeze)

- I logged with root/cacti

and after ?

- I created a no root user (cacti/cacti) and logged

- I downloaded the "cacti.tar.gz" file by the command wget http://cdn.turneylinux.org/files/attachments/cacti.tar.gz

- I untared it: tar -zxvf cacti.tar.gz

Suppose I create a backup using TKLBAM from a VM running in a local machine and then I create the same machine / appliance in Amazon cloud server, can I restore the backup including the configuration I have created to the cloud server running the same appliance.

The idea is to migrate from the VM / local machine to the cloud.

Any suggestions?

I got this message after s3 was discontinued due to a billing issue. I re-registerd and now S3 activiation is endlessly pending. So I can run instances, but can't backup them due to this issue.

What steps can I take to fix this?
