Hi,

I've been trying to get the fileserver to work for over 3 days now. I've tried many settings, howto's, forums and AI's but nothing helps.

I have 2 users and 2 groups. User admin is member of samba-rw and user archief is member of samba-ro. The share is chowned root:samba-rw and chmodded 2775 for directories and 644 for files.

If I don't use the setting: force group = samba-rw everything works and I can log on, but I can't write as user admin. If I enable force group = samba-rw I can't even log on and I get an error NT_STATUS_NO_SUCH_GROUP

Hi Jeremy,

I am attempting to configure some WordPress related Fail2Ban rules and not yet having much success (I have configured the rules as per spec / online examples but the rules have no effect). I will plug away at it but it would be helpful if I had a couple of answers to some context questions.

Q1: Is Fail2Ban / Linux Firewall (IpTables) enabled by default?

I had TKDC as AD for a while. So far so good. Now I want to deploy a second TKDC as a read-only domain controller. Is there any guide/doc on this? I was stuck at kinit: Cannot find KDC for realm "MY.DOMAIN" while getting initial credentials when trying to simply add a second instance to the domain. Perhaps I could resolve this issue, but that leaves me with a question: "Am I even on the right way?" Will there be an option for RODC later? So here I am, looking for help/advice.

What is the BackupID# derived from...the Linux ServerName?

I'm using two network interfaces for Zoneminder - one for the VM and another for the cameras. What's the best way to get my camera interface to query my VM interface for NTP? Do I have to install ntpd or chrony? Thanks

I have installed the stalwart-mail https://github.com/stalwartlabs email server on a postgres appliance. There is a service present in /etc/systemd/system/stalwart-mail.service. However I cannot figure out how to launch the service at start-up. I've tried systemctl enable stalwart-mail.service but this did not work. Is there something specific I have to do for a turnkey appliance? Thanks Paul

Hello all, I'm running turnkey-espocrm-17.1-bullseye-amd64. I've installed the espocrm export-import tools but it does not seem to work. -bash: export-import: command not found https://github.com/espocrm/ext-export-import/releases Is there anything about the Turnkey Linux OS that would keep this from exporting? I have been a huge fan of https://www.turnkeylinux.org/tracks for quite a while. i am trying to setup a new instance using version18.0 of the ISO. i am having issues with MariaDB. it seems it will only run one time, and as soon as you either reboot the appliance, or restart MariaDB it will no longer start.
