I've had moodle running on a VM for a couple of weeks now.

Today, I did an apt-get upgrade from the web shell (I've since tried it from Webmin and SSH'd into the server as well). There were three packags to upgrade, one of which was moodle. The other two worked fine. The moodle upgade failed with the following

I'm a newb who has been trying to get the django appliance running on EC2.  I followed the instructions and was able to get it running but now I can't log in.   The main page's credentials are supposed to be;

 

• django admin console: username admin, password turnkey
• Webmin, SSH, MySQL: username root, no password

 

I've downloaded it twice. Both times 7-zip complains it is corrupted. Here are the hashes from the file I've downloaded.

Hi, Im using the Drupal Turnkey image. I would like to install the Filesystem Backup module in webmin. How can I do this?

First of all - Very awesome project that you are doing, and you have totally turned my face away from Freenas which was great for a file server, but not when it came to installing MySQL which I frequently use for my sites.

I am very happy with the Joomla server for the Turnkey project and am wanting to add the samba function to it so I can drop an external drive onto the system and use that as a NAS for my computers.  Can you tell me how I would go about doing this?

How do I restart ejabberd? Each time I try I get an error (RPC failed on the node ejabberd@localhost: nodedown) and can never restart it again..

I'm thinking it might have something to do with with restarting it as root and not as the user ejabberd but I don't know how to restart it as ejabberd, it asks me for the password which I have no idea what it is.

Please help.

I am having problems mounting my NTFS drives.  I believe the ntfs-3g drivers are installed and when I try to run the NTFS-config I get this error

(ntfs-config:11946): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: 

I have been battling this now for 3 days and have went back and forth between here and the Unbuntu site.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi there,

I've just discovered Turnkey Linux and i've downloaded and install the postgresql appliance and all is well except one thing.

I've restored a database and although everything came over in one piece all the money fields are showing $ instead of £ signs (which is what I need).

Although the system locale is set to en_GB I can't set the postgres locale accordingly.

Is there any way around this that anyone knows of (short of using initdb to create a new cluster, which by the way I can't find the initdb program).

I am using the wordpress and i cannot get the host name to appear in the IP address. Only the IP address will show even if you call on the url. I have been all around web min and can not seem to find how to change it.

Hi,

I can't log into webmin - I can get the login page up, but all my login attempts fail, whether I use root with no password or root with the password I changed it to.

Note that I have never been asked to change the password for root, I did it myself.

Any ideas?
