I have been using a custom build of Moodle 1.9 on the TKL LAMP 11 build.  We use it extensivly in our classroom.    I recently setup the new 12.0 version of Moodle 2.3 in a vm.  

I am learning my way around the new interface but it strikes me how much slower it is than 1.9.   I looked around and one of the things I notice is there doesn't seem to be a php accelerator in the build. i.e. eAccelerator or APC.    As a simple test I tried doing a apt install of php-apc but it killed apache.

I downloaded the Turnkey Bamboo invoice ISO and installed on a Standlone box on my Home network

When i use my notebook browser to point to this box i get a Unable to conect.

i can ping the box

Bambooinvoice box = 192.168.1.106

Notebook  = 192.168.1.50

I can access the webmin page on Bambooinvoicebox as well as the Sql, but not the invoice page itself.

Any ideas what i can try please.

Still very new with Linux

when i booted to the turnkey linux config console, i received this error message: "networking is not configured".

In the eth0 config console, i attempted DHCP confugure networking authomatically but got this error message: " error obtaining IP address".

What do i do?

I've installed the new Joomla 2.5 appliance and the site is working fine. I cannot, however, access Webmin, PHPMyAdmin, or ssh/sftp. Https on the main site seems to be working, though. I tried the vm and installing the iso version, same results. Any ideas?

I am trying to get Magento appliance up and running but am having difficutly.  I was not able to ping either host -> guest or guest -> host in host only adapter mode.  I disabled the Windows firewall and with still no luck I also ran a wireshark capture and the only thing I'm seeing is an ARP request and reply but no other traffic.

I just tried migrating a couple LAMP VMs from TLK 11 to 12. In both cases I used TLKBAM to backup the v11 machines and then restored on the new v12 machines. The restoration seemed to work OK, but after finishing and restarting, Webmin is not accessible any more (shell-in-a-box and phpMyAdmin do work though). This has happened with both machines.

Wondering if I can install the new TKL Joomla 2.5 Appliance, then run tKLBAM REstore with my Joomla 1.6 Data and upgrade it in the process to 2.5.

Any thoughts other than to try it?

After installing the openphoto template in proxmox and pointing the brower to the openphoto ip, i get following:

You don't have permission to access /setup on this server.

Are there any steps to take to make it work?
