I'm sorry guys, but I've been flailing on this, and I just can't figure it out.
All I want to do is spin up a wordpress VM (on my local LAN) and then connect to mySQL from a remote machine (on my LAN). I have been having a hard time getting this working, and could use some advice.
I change the user to allow remote connections.
I put a port opening on the firewall for 3306. I haven't been able to figure out what I need to do with the old bind-address argument
BLUF - Mediaserver VM usage not dropping as expected according to PVE GUI during idle periods.
Alright, first off, these images are awesome. The MediaServer got me off the ground and running way faster than the last one I tried building from instructions.
I am attempting to set up a basic wordpress server in gns3 using the appliance provided by turnkey but when I attempt to SSH into the root I am asked for a password? This is my first time using a word press server so if im missing something obvious please let me know.
Thanks :)
UPDATE: I deleted the template from GNS3 and noticed it assigns a random password during the first boot, in the middle of the boot text.
I have intalled the Wordpress LXC on the latest Proxmox but after running for some time normally, the CPU usage spikes to 100% due to `jitterentropy-rngd`.
What could be causing this? Can I disable the jitterentropy-rngd service?
Hello, I have installed a TURNKEY LAMP that is about 7 years old. The system was set up once by another administrator. I'm not a Linux expert myself ...
The TURNKEY is installed as a virtual machine.
Unfortunately, the data hard drive is now full. I shut down the server and expanded the virtual hard drive. But how can I expand the Linux data partition and allocate the new storage space? I would be very grateful for any help!
I want to create a userlogin during initial setup.
Where should I create the "useradd" command, so that password is not logged in logfiles like 'history'?
How can I encrypt the password which was entered within the inithook-script?
