I've been a long time user of turnkey linix and I've been running a Redmine instance for some years now.  The version is 11.2 lucid.  It also uses tklbam to backup to S3.

Over the years this instance has been extensively customised and the changes don't easily apply to the newer turnkey 12 and 13 instances.  So I don't believe I can just launch a new Turnkey Redmine version and restore a backup.

I just tried the tkl-lxc appliance on the hub.

All seems to be working as expected but I can't get the pre configured apt-cacher-ng to work.

All i get is:

Err http://cdn.debian.net wheezy Release.gpg
  Could not connect to 192.168.121.1:3124 (192.168.121.1). - connect (111: Connection refused)

I have looked at the config files, see no errors there

Did a tcpdump -i natbr0 'port 3142'  

And I see traffic.

sorry for the question. I found many topics in the forum about SMTP related things, but i am still confused.

I only want config a generall SMTP setting for all emails and a forwarding of all internal emails. I dont need a complete eMail-Server and i dont need to receive emails within the turnkey linux.

The goal of this post is to describe all the steps leading to a successfull FTP Server Installation with the following features :

- FTP Server compatible with Debian 7 or CentOS 7 (might also be available for lower versions)
- FTP Mysql user and group accounts
- Web management interface (WebUI) for user, group, config, log management

I've noticed that every 15 minutes, root is getting an email from cron indicating that whine.pl isn't found.

The crontab shows that it is attempting to run whine.pl (and the other cron tasks) are being run from /var/www/bugzilla/lib .

None of those scripts are in that directory.

Recommendations for repair in keeping with the TKL mentality?  Copy the scripts into lib or change the tasks to run from /var/www/bugzilla ?

I am trying to configure my ftp server to allow anonymous connections.  I have it working for users to ftp in (username and password) and I have the samba shares working the way I want, but anonymous ftp is killing me.

There is no ftp user or group either (sounds a little strange.)

Everything I have read discusses vsftp, but from what I can figure out, the appliance uses plane jane ftp (and I don't know where to find the configuration file.

This is a little convoluted but let me tell you what is going on.  (DO NOT FOLLOW LINKS IN THIS TEXT)

1. Fired up bugzilla AMI instance

2. Initial setup

3. Changed urlbase and sslbase to point to the public name assigned to the instance. (along with other setup) and set the redirect to SSL on connect.

So far so good.  Then I did something a bit wrong, and I could fix that - it's what came after that.

4. I assigned a new ElasticIP address to it.

Then when I connected, it correctly redirected to the wrong (old) name.

I recently found out that their was an image of Turnkey OpenVPN, so i installed it on a VPS and everything was running fine.

I created a user with the

openvpn-addclient client-name client-email [private-subnet]

That worked well, but i needed to restart the openvpn service, but after that it refuses to start up.

Syslog tells me:

ovpn-server[4063]: Options error: Unrecognized option or missing parameter(s) in /etc/openvpn/server.conf:37: route (2.2.1)

So I checked the server.conf and this is the outcome:

How do I know what this login is?  The configuration process only asks me to set the password for the wordpress account, but not the "login".  When I quit the configuration console, I am asked for my login, which I have no idea what it is.  Help.

I noticed that the phplist appliance was updated to v13, but its still on phplist v2. Version 3 was released mid-2013, so are there plans to update the appliance?
