Hi,

I can't log into webmin - I can get the login page up, but all my login attempts fail, whether I use root with no password or root with the password I changed it to.

Note that I have never been asked to change the password for root, I did it myself.

Any ideas?

I need to download some Drupal modules into the Turnkey VM but am having problems.  If I try

apt-get install wget

I get an error "E: couldn't find package wget"

If I try apt-get update, I get lots of errors relating to resolving hostnames.  I tried entering IP addresses for archive.ubuntu.com into hosts file, but then apt-get update just sits on that address waiting at 0% (as well as failing to resolve other hosts).

I install OK the Standalone Tomcat Appliance.

I install the MySQL with the command

apt-get install mysql-server mysql-client libmysqlclient15-dev

I set correctly the system path variables for the Tomcat, Ant, Java, etc.

I deploy the track.war file to the Tomcat server with the File Manager to /usr/share/tomcat5.5/server/webapps

I try to check the site by accessing the url of the Tomcat and now it says "It Works" and not the Tomcat login page!!!!

What have I done wrong?????

Installed dokuwiki virtual machine yesterday on VMWare and all worked fine.  

However, this morning when trying to access any page I am getting a 404 error - The requested URL /start was not found on this server.

I can access the initial page which shows as http://<ip address>/doku.php, but if I click on any link, even the start link, I get the 404 error.  

This appears to have happened after the overnight cron job updates.

Can someone describe how can I install MySQL, phpmyadmin to the Standalone Tomcat Appliance.

I connect with putty bia ssh to the server and try to run the command "aptitude install mysql-server mysql-client libmysqlclient15-dev" but the server returns "bash: aptitude: command not found"

Any idea???? Please help me!!!!

Hello, I couldn't figure out how to make this go away. I tried two solutions I found through Scroogle, but they just made Apache say it two or three more times. I don't have a domain name yet. If I need that, I'd get one of those free ones, so I pointed Apache to my IP. I didn't get any search results on this site.

Also, I don't think there's any mention of what to pick when updating phpmyadmin. Looks like you're supposed to go with apache2.

I have the Drupal 6 appliance up and running and the domain name/IP properly configured but I have two issues that have me stumped.

1) When I enter "http://DomainName.com" I get the drupal front page but...

    When I type in "http://www.DomainName.com" I get a cPanel configuration page??
