phpPGADmin

Forum:

I want my phpPGADmin back.

I have just installed TurnKey PostgreSQL version (14.0) and everything seems to be working  fine.  I see that phpPGADmin has been replaced with Adminer.  Though Adminer may be a great tool, I don't know it and I don't want to learn something new right now.  I have installed phpPGAdmin on the 14.0 install but when I go to access it remotely through my web browser I either get "try again" or "404-Page Not Found". I have tried suggestions from Google search to fix the problem with no joy.

I am currently running owncloud V7 and looking at the screenshots on the ownCloud page it seems to be a newer version.

Want to be sure before I create a new instance and move things over (last upgrade was not a party).

Thanks

Lighttpd for Plone?

Forum:

Is it possible to have lighttpd for plone rather than Apache?

I did some research and it looks like Apache has a few thousand CVEs, whereas lighttpd seems to only have about 40, and half of those look like they are relatively minor.  From this cursory investigation, I conclude that lighttpd might be a better choice if security is a concern.

Am I right or wrong?  Can Plone even be implemented under lighty, or is Plone hardwired somehow to Apache?

Potential Security breach prior to webserver password change?

Forum:

When I first launch my Turnkey Plone webserver, I land on a web page that is requesting for me to change the password.  The problem is that the VM is already available for requests from the Internet.  That means that ANYONE in the world who happens upon my site between installation and changing the password could potentially do a bit of damage (if they know what they're doing).  The chance is slim, perhaps, but not altogether ignorable.

reset webmin password

Hi,

I set up yesterday a new, empty TKL (thanks for this possibility!) for redmine. Now I want to access webmin (for database backup etc).

Unfortunately I installed the system with us-keyboard layout, and also configured the webmin password with ths keyboard. So now I'm confused what I used as login and password for webmin. I still have access to the machine via SSH. There seems to be a "changepass.pl"-script to reset the password of webmin, but where can I find it? Or are there any other possibilities to reset the webmin password?

building tomcat standalone from source hangs

Forum:

Working on a new custom app based on tomcat (standalone), mongodb, with oracle java bits and our own app code... But I noticed that doing the make was getting stuck with:

...

Setting up casper (1.236-turnkey+12+gc47bd84) ...

Warning: Deferring update-initramfs -u
Setting up ca-certificates-java (20140324) ...

At this point there is a java process eating nearly 100% CPU and quickly shows up as defunct.

Mantis Restore/Migrate fails // sql-user mantis wrong password

Forum:

Hi (again),

since you've been so helpful with the last report, I figured you could maybe help me with this one as well.

I have an old Mantis Turnkey Installation (TK12.0, Mantis 1.1.8), which I want to upgrade and also move from the local network to the cloud.

When opening the URL of the new instance (TK14.0, Mantis 1.2.19), I get the following error after the backup/migrate/restore process with tklbam.
