I broke my phpmyadmin link

Forum:

I installed Virtualmin on my fresh but old Ubu-LAMP 11.3 server but it broke the link on the index.php page.   It works from http(s):/IP-dom/phpmyadmin but not with :12322.  Not a big deal but thought I'd ask how to troubleshoot.  I created a fresh symlink but no go.

I also would like to rename index.php to tkl.php so I can free up the root of /var/www for sites.

Not sure how to do that w/o breaking that too. ;)

The requested URL /admin was not found on this server.

When I return to a fresh snapshot it work again, but without any change to the system this will come back after a day orso....

Joining domain-controler with windows seven

Forum:

Hello,

I am testing the domain-controler appliance and it works fine with XP.

With seven Pro 64, I can connect to smb file share, but can't join the domain. It prompt me for the login and password, but after that I get a error message like "the domain doesn't exist or can't be contacted" (my message is in french). The ping is ok in both directions.

I also updated to samba4 (using apt-get), but doesn't change anything.

Do you have any clue ?

Thanks in advance,

David

PS: I'm almost a beginner with linux

Getting a file server appliance setup

Forum:

I am interested in testing the "File server" virtual appliance. I am trying to set it up using amazon, it keeps instead setting up the "TurnKey Backup and Migration " service.

I am a bit confused about virtual appliances and what "hub" is. Documentation/Help in these areas would be appreciated.

A step by step how to would be really nice...

phpBB: How to get the phpBB welcome page and the administration panel?

Forum:
Tags:

Hi,

I downloaded phpBB TKL latest version appliance and uploaded the image onto my VMWare ESXi server. I then had to provide the IP address and that's it. I am able to bring up the webmin page and the others two - webshell and phpMyAdmin. However, I can't see how I can bring up the phpBB welcome pages and the phpBB administration panel page for forum administration.
