Turnkey Bookstack 18 in Hub: issues turning off HubDNS (TKLAPP.com) and turning off the Server itself

Forum:

I have been doing some exploration w/ Bookstack (TKL 18.0).
It turned out the reference place I sent a working system to has a built in Firwall Block against Dynamic DNS Hosted Websites.
So, I moved the system to an elastic IP and External Sub/Domain to another domain I have. I also set a Lets Encrypt Certificate to that domain.

Updating Snipe-IT appliance

Forum:

This is a repost of Fernando Rapa's Snipe-IT update question (comment on another thread).

Hello Turnkey community.

I love the work you all do here, making easy to get apps, that otherwise could take hours or days for us to vetted and installed, I am currently exploring the application Snipe-it as IT asset manager, and it looks very good so far.

Nextcloud Let's Encrypt certificate problem

Forum:

Reposted from account approval/welcome thread

I would like to use the Tunrkey Nextcloud LCX on my Webserver.

As my webserver can only serve the domains with a public IPv6 addresses (no public IPv4 addresses availabe), I use cloudflare DNS proxy, to get a valid pubic Ipv4 address for my nextcloud instance. This works great and I am able to run nextcloud, get updates and installing apps.

Debian "in place" upgrade did not go well.

Forum:

Note: this discussion was started by gonza as a comment in an older although quite relevant thread. The only difference was the versions in the attempted "Debian in-place upgrade" - from v17.x (Debian 11/Bullseye) to v18.x (Debian 12/Bookworm). The new issues reported by gonza are version specific so better in a new thread.

Well, the upgrade did not go well.

Updating/Upgrading TurnKey server appliances

Forum:

Hi all!

I am currently using the TurnKey NextCloud LXC container and has done so for some time now. I have upgraded NextCloud through its webbased upgrade system, I am currently running NextCloud Hub 9/30.0.2. turnkey-version gives "turnkey-nextcloud-17.2-bullseye-amd64"

This gives me warnings that both MariaDB and PHP are now deprecated.

From time to time, I have logged into the container and also done a apt update/upgrade - this may possibly be counterproductive?
