Evening. New to turnkey linux as a lxc container in ProxMox v6. I fired up the MySQL container and everything worked as expected, then all of a sudden I started getting PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR when trying to connect to the Adminer web page at https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:12322, but could connect to Webmin. Fast forward 12 hours later.... Now I can connect to both Adminer and Webmin.. Then 30 minutes later I can no longer connect to Webmin and get the same PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR. I tried Chromium and got the same message.
We already have a subscription for "LAMP Stack - Web Stack (MySQL) powered by TurnKey GNU/Linux (HVM)" in our AWS account and I am raising this ticket on behalf of our customer. The issue that we are facing is that we are not able to launch the EC2 instance of types t3* and m5* series. Could you please help with this as we need to optimize the instances. Could you please consider this as the highest priority and help us.
I've been trying to deploy Docker TKL/OpenLdap in my environment, and have found that I am not able to maintain the persistent data.
I work around this by extending the docker image with Dockerfile, and adding a volume for the /var/lib/ldap path, as that's where the DB is stored.
However, after a stop-start on the container, all data gets wiped out.
It appears that each time the container starts, the script initialises a new instance of DB for OpenLdap, regardless of whether its a new container or old container.
I wanted to double the disk size of the VM
In VMWare I've expanded the HD from 20 to 40 GB.
In TKL apparently I did something different from the instructions here: https://www.turnkeylinux.org/blog/extending-lvm
When running:
root@QuesMail ~# cfdisk -L /dev/sda
Instead of creating sda3, I've expanded sda1 from 20G to 40G.
I have been trying to update a version of Gitlab for several days and I cant find the corresponding procedure. Indeed, when I try to follow a tutorial to do a basic update of Gitlab (in my case from version 8.8 to 8.9) it turns out that the directories are not the same as in the tutorial.
Could it be because I have a TurnKey version?
It is imperative that I update Gitlab because this version is becoming obsolete (at least to switch to Gitlab API v4)
Trying to generate a certificate. Used confconsole tool to get new certificate. I get the following error, but unclear what exactly happened...
[2020-08-28 13:53:32] dehydrated-wrapper: FATAL: dehydrated exited with a non-zero exit code.
Unfortunately I have no real idea where to look for a log file that might guide me as to the nature of the error.
Any guidance where I should look would be gratefully appreciated. In the meantime I am using a self-signed certificate, but would prefer of course to use a "real" certificate.
Should be a rather simple question, but I don't know what is the username/password credentials for both the Webmin and also the Postgres database (via shell).
I want to run some queries in Postgres, and I would like to have access to both methods (graphical Webmin interface and also shell access to the Postgres database as well).
I was wondering whether there is a recommended repository from which I could download old Turnkey ISOs? The mirrors I have found so far only go as far back as turnkey-otrs-14.2
