I need to update our PHP version from 7.0 to 8.2.

I'm trying to follow this thread:

However, I have a couple of issues.

When using the line to set the old PHP version, this incorrectly picks up 8.0. 
I manually set that to 7.0.
Doing this yields the correct old and new packages.

I had to reboot my turnkey lxc container. After reboot I tried to open my turnkey again and got the message:

Please initialize this system...

so I logged into the system via ssh ran the turnkey-init but still getting the screen. Any Idea how I am able to login to turnkey again?

I am using apache proxy to manage traffic from only 1 public ip, to local ip assigned servers. Also certbot/letsencrypt is working on this proxy.

External Firewall is natting all traffic on ports 80 and 443 to this proxys internal ip.

Everything works well, except for that all my local servers are listening on port 80. So configuration on proxy with apache en lets encrypt take care of my pages are being seen as https.

As you may have surmised from the title, the issue of the day is getting VisualEditor working in a MediaWiki instance. I've gotten far enough down the rabbit hole that I get a functional VE UI, but when I try to save changes to an edit, I get, "Error contacting the Parsoid/RESTBase server: http-request-error." I've been raking over the the documentation and my setup for the past 3 weeks. I just can't figure out what's broke or how to fix it.

Versions: MediaWiki 1.37.1, Debian 11, VisualEditor REL1_39

Just got Portainer up on my homelab.  Can't wait to install (https://) hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/swag but I have a problem.  Like Highlander, there can be only one (service on port 80).

But my Turnkey Linux File Server is already serving up WebDAV there.  I don't need it - I'm an old school SSH guy.

This is what I did:

Log in over SSH (as normal user)

$ sudo mv /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/webdavcgi.conf .

( don't forget the "." )

Go back to Webmin  / System / Bootup and Shutdown

When importing into CANVAS the following error is reecived: 

#133 Couldn't convert QTI 1.2 to 2.1, see error log: /tmp/job-1311798-canvas.1484-20230905-1484-jqub7f/cm_20_user_id_1_qti/qti_conversion_error.log

SOLUTION:

I've migrated my v12.x Redmine appliance data to the current release (v17.x) and all appears to (mostly) be good.

However, the HTTP/HTTPS Git Protocol doesn't seem to be working for the redmine image. What areas should I check?

I've tried this:

git -c http.sslVerify=false clone http://xxx.tklapp.com/git/helloworld.git

and

git -c http.sslVerify=false clone https://xxx.tklapp.com/git/helloworld.git

but got repository not found.

Any advice?

Installed current version 17.2 but something's broken on fresh install? Almost all the buttons generate an error message in the log:
