Hello to all, I hope that I am posting in the correct area, if not would an admin please place my post where it belongs. I am posting to this forum in hopes that I might get a small amount of assistance with the install of TurnKEy NAS on a Intel SS4200-EHW. The machine is normally a headless system. But for now I have a PCIE 1X to PCI adapter installed and have a pci video card installed. The issue that I having is this. Since I do not have a USB cdrom I am using my other computer to install the OS (via the live cd)on the hardrive and then transfer the harddrive to the Intel SS4200-EHW.

I am using the LAPP VM in VMware 7.x Workstation, on Windows Vista. I've followed the instructions in "How to allow remote access to databases" and still cannot connect to postgres from PGPAdmin. I scanned my virtual machine using Zenmap and did not find the 5432 port open.

Is there something I have to do in Linux to open the port for access from within my home network?

Hello, I just deployed the Turnkey revision control appliance on WMWare.

Everything was fine, but I cannot access to my Subversion repository with a Tortoise SVN client.

When I'm trying to connect throught Tortoise SVN to the http://[serveraddress]/svn, the client tell me the following message :

 

I'm using the Wordpress Turnkey Virtual Appliance behind my work's http proxy. I've followed the instructions here http://www.turnkeylinux.org/forum/support/20100112/manual-proxy-configur... and now the Ubuntu server can see the internet.

However when looking at Wordpress's dashboard, it cannot access the internet and so plugins etc cannot be automatically updated.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I used zimbra-conf to change the domain name and password and can not seem to get back into the admin screen. If the new domain is new.com isn't the admin id admin@new.com ??

Rerunning the change did not work, nor did changeing the domain to X.com and then back to new.com.

 

I have a couple of appliances running on Virtual Box linux servers. One is Joomla and the other is the Gallery appliance. I thought I could use port forwarding on my DLINK DIR-625 to send default traffic to the joomla and traffic with a specific port to the Gallery box. I though 8080 to Gallery. So I configured D-LINK and does not work. Do I have to change Gallery to listen on 8080 somehow as well??

I installed the redmine iso on my Aleutia E2. It works mind you.

My only problem is that at boot time I get the message:

"(id 10ec:8139 rev 10) is not an 8139C+ compatible chip" it also tells me to use 8139too, which it then proceeds to load by itself and the network is initialized.

It apparently waits here for about twenty seconds then moves on.

I'd like to get rid of this message and the delay it causes during boot time.

I'm using TK LAMP appliance and I have two questions:

- can someone point me / help me on how to change php settings to use mod_fastcgi instead of mod_php? I need this to work in a thread-safe environment for some custom php extension we're using.

- how can I grant my appliance internet access? shouldn't this be automatic?

I have successfully got one of the appliances running (turnkey-fileserver) inside lxc, but I am having trouble accessing the device.  Does anyone know how to ssh into the device/container with a blank root password?  I have played around with these settings and still getting permission denied when i try to enter an empty password:

<mountpoint>/etc/ssh/sshd_config

PermitRootLogin without-password

PermitEmptyPasswords yes
