How to integrate the turnkey joomla appliance with my joomla site?

This is like a component or module. Or simply download and install?

How to do it?

Hi guys I was just wondering if there is an easy way to be able to tell what version my TKL appliances are?

This is not a huge big deal as I plan on updating all my appliances at some point (perhaps I may now wait until next release?). But it is handy to know so if I encounter a bug I can make a useful report or if I am giving someone else info I can let them know which version I am using (and perhaps assist them to tell us which version they have).

If there isn't perhaps this is something that you can look at including with the next release?

I'm having a problem reconfiguring mysql (or phpmyadmin) to work with a drupal site. It had been a while since I logged into phpmyadmin, and I forgot the password, so I set a new login and password for mysql through the command line (/etc/mysql). Now, for some reason when I go to open the site I get this error: The mysqli error was: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES).

I do a lot of development with Turnkey appliances inside VirtualBox virtual machines. I really ought to edit the code in normal-space since I've tuned many of my development tools the way I want them, but today I was being lazy and working on a Django appliance.

I am running an internal Web site with Turnkey Drupal version 6.10 on VMware for a while and it works well. Last November, I download the new release of Turnkey Drupal version 6.14 (Oct09) and started to get stability problem. It works for a day or so and then become unaccessible, getting the following error message on my VMware console: "Out of memory: Kill process 4492 (Apache2) score 182278 or a child".

Since roundup-server was deactivated in favor of Apache2, I am missing a guide to run multiple trackers with roundup appliance.

I need to run three trackers independently within the same virtual machine.

Is this possible in the way that it was with roundup-server?

I have recently installed the current turnkey Mediawiki appliance on an old PC. All works very well and im happy as.

Im very new to using a LAMP type server. When i type in the site address ***.***.***.***  onto the browser it automatically goes to http://***.***.***.***/index.php/Main_page as it is a wiki site.

However i would like to put a link on the wiki site to goto to a webpage outside the wiki site but on the same server. How do i achieve this ? (eg http://***.***.***.***/phpscripts/database_input.php).

 I've just tried to get the vm version of the Redmine appliance to startup on my VMware server 1.0.8 on Windows XP SP3.

I'm sure I've done it right (no docs I could find about installing on VMware).

1. unzipped downloaded zip file
2. Added it to my inventory
3. set networking NAT, ram 512mb.

When it starts up it spends some time trying to network boot, then complains it can't find a CDROM to boot from.

Is it not compatible with VMserver 1 ?

Would getting the ISO version get round this problem?
