Installing Turnkey WordPress

I am trying to get Turnkey WordPress installed using Sun Virtual Box, but the install

never gets passed the Linux Configuration Screen for Networking. It just gets stuck

in a loop either for Dynamic DHCP or Static DHCP. I'm using wifi as part of my Ubuntu

Lucid install. Does TurnKey support wifi?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Roundup - add new users

My Roundup appliance won't let admin add new users from the web GUI.  

No errors are generated, but no users show up after adding them.  

I'm running a Roundup appliance under virtualbox on XP.

VM settings are as-shipped by Turnkey.

I've configured per instructions:

 

[tracker]
web = /                     (before)
web = http://appliance_ip/  (after)

where appliance_ip is the VM adapter address.

This is a second fresh install of the OVF of 2009.10-2.

I can raise issues, just not add users.

Hi all,

We are novices in this.... we are trying out Turnkey XMPP and Web Chat and we've not reached any where... where can we get some documentation?

We have the server up and running, but don't know how to customise to our network, like renaming example.com or adding chat rooms or users...

If some one can either guide us or point to any detailed documentation, we can get the service up and running...

KVM "-no-kvm"

Does anybody know why my Turnkey Appliances insist on starting with the "-no-kvm" option?  I think it's hurting performance significantly and I have made sure the xml configurations are identical to my other virtual machines (all of which are running with hardware virtualization fine).

Website down! I am having a permissions problem on a VMware Drupal6 appliance. I have other Drupal6 VMs running just fine on the same box. I've checked folder permissions and configurations and everything seems to be the same between the instances. I had made no recent changes to the site. I'm a Linux newbie so this has been steep for me. I can access Webmin just fine.
After poking around some errors include;

sudo: can't open /etc/sudoers: Permission denied

Permission denied: /.htaccess pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess file, ensure it is readable

Hi guys, I'm trying to move my Wordpress blog over to turnkey Wordpress Virtual Appliance.

My current blog is http://www.simonlong.co.uk/blog and I need my new installation to be the same. 

With the default installation of Turnkey Wordpress it would make the wordpress blog apprear here: http://www.simonlong.co.uk/

How can I change this? Would it be easier just to reinstall a new Wordpress instance?

First of all, thankyou to everyone who has put this appliance together!

 

Ok, I'm running a development system through virtualbox, using the network bridged adapter. Stock.

Problem is I'm not, and never have received any of the Drupal emails. Valid email address, haven't changed any settings and I've no idea where to go, even google cant help me.

I'm guessing its a problem with the postfix settings, but no idea what.

 

Anyone fancy helping?

Hello folks,

My question is, Is it possible to run more than one application in single appliance. I am thinking of purchasing a turnkeylinux vps soon, and wondering if its possible to host my wordpress blog and a phpBB forum on the same appliance or not.

If yes, What are the necessary configuration that should be made if any.
