Is it just me, or is the ability to sort search results on the turnkeylinux.org website broken?
After entering a search term into http://www.turnkeylinux.org/search, I try to "Sort results by" criteria such as "Date created" or "Last modified", but this functionality does not seem to be working for me.
This makes it difficult to find, for any given issue, the most recent:
Im having some trouble with the Windows Profiles which has to be written to the samba share. When logging in with a Windows account the map test.user.V2 is created om the samba share, but when logging off the Windows machine, the test.user.V2 dir stays empty.
It is possible to create a file in the test.user.V2 directory with the windows user from the windos machine. So it seems like all the users can create files on the share, but machines can't.
When I change any values in /etc/network/interfaces, they do not show properly in confconsole until I reboot. Most changes only result in the gateway turning empty. Below is an example to show what I mean.
TKLDev make, does it cache all the downloads via apt-get? I was wondering if I should setup a apt mirror so that I keep all the builds from going out an hitting all the repos etc.. or does TKLDev cache this info?
I'm trying to restore / migrate a website to a medium.m3 EC2 instance, but I'm running into issues with running out of disk space when I try to restore.
The medium.m3 instance has 4GB of SSD-based instance storage. I've also attached a 30GB SSD-based EBS volume and set that as the boot volume.
My backup is a 12-ish GB backup, and when I trigger the backup from my EC2 instance it runs out of space at /tmp because it's using the instance-based 4GB volume and not the 30GB EBS volume.
