On my Drupal site I am using a theme that puts a log-in prompt on the main page. I want to move it to a separate page. How do I do that? Also, once I move or remove it, How would I go about still logging on as the admin? I have other questions and concerns but I need to start from there.
I work with a few web sites and a number of CMS systems. I have not visited my drupal site for some time. So I apologize if I am repeating myself.
While I know that this isn't likely Turnkey specific, I don't know where else to check...
So I have Turnkey LAPP installed, configured, and running fine. Now I am trying to add some virtual hosts to apache. Amongst some other requirements, I need to listen to some extra ports, like 8080, 4434, and maybe some random others (to be determined in the future).
Basically, TKLBAM fails with the gdocs backend but I've almost managed to get it working by installing new versions of duplicity and python-gdata. But not quite... read below for where where I'm at. Please note that there might be some discrepancies in my description as my terminal scroll buffer filled up and as I've tried quite a few things and am going on memory I had to retry things which may have yielded different results to the first attempt given all that went on before!
- could you perhaps add a server 'mediawikimaths' to your suite to allow for nerds like me who want to run a maths enabled wikimedia
- do you have a faq explaining the ins and outs of persistent storage (EBS volumes). I enabled the Maths as per your instructions but on rebooting it doesn't work. I think it lost all the changes on reboot because no persistent storage was enabled.
- also need to understand elastic ip and the cost implications of both that and deploying EBS volumes
I discovered another WebMin issue while trying to roll back some config changes using etckeeper. Webmin is not a well behaved app IMHO, keeping logs and status information in /etc. The TurnKey devs have already dealt with the history logs by moving them to /var/log/webmin and adding a .gitignore in /etc/webmin/system-status/.
I cant add new language to Canvas LMS. It's 100% translated on transifex, and i download sr.yml file and add it to /var/canvas/config/locales. After that, i add these lines to locales.yml
sr:
locales:
sr: Srpski (crowd-sourced)
qualified_locale: sr-RS
crowdsourced: true
Also file sr_RS.js exists in /var/canvas/public/javascrpit/vendor/timezone.
But when i test it, everything on Canvas what is writen in JS stayed untranslated.
I had thought that when I went to the "Bronze Plan" it would have closed out the "Pay per Use Plan". It seems I was being billed for both. I am really not using any Servers on Amazon. Was about to try one again but got flummoxed with the $86 per month cost for a Medium server.
I just cancelled the "pay as you go" plan. Hope that does not break everything else but we will see. Bronze is still signed up for.
