I was just notified "As of December 15, 2014, Amazon Web Services (AWS) will discontinue the use of DevPay, the billing platform Zmanda uses to enable backups to AWS." and my Zmanda Cloud Backup would be going away. Is this also going to effect my TKBAM account and backup?
Any way to install the TKLBAM functionality on an older appliance? I have an older WordPress appliance in use and would like to update the OS to a newer version using TKLBAM migration. Any other migration processes you can recommend would be great as well!
I recently installed turnkey and was trying to access webmin and got locked out. Can you please tell me how I can unblock my host PC. Also, it would be helpful to know how I can disable this feature to prevent this from happening again. Thanks a lot in advance for your help.
Trying to run anything that accesses an external site DNS returns localhost. Not even "can't locate" error... I can deal with that... no, for example, if you try to ping google... it returns the google domain as localhost.
Ping google, it pings localhost instead.
Traceroute for anything returns one step... localhost... and exits.
trying to do anything that requires pulling anything from an external site... python, wget, etc... fails because it can't find it on localhost.
I'm setting up a file server for our new home server and while I've got everything else working great, I can't access the ajaxplorer service in the browser. To help, here is my docker command (so you can see the port mappings, etc.).
I'm VERY new to Turnkey and still fairly wet-behind-the-ears with AWS, which is probably why I can't find an answer by searching here on the forum for what I assume is a common question.
I could use some help from anyone. I have a Fileserver Appliance running Turnkey 12.1. It has been much customized to run as Media server with Twonky 7.0.11 Special. I even tricked it out with Webmin 1.690 and a really great Webmin Theme called Metal. It just looks great and runs great too! I have a 32gb Samsung SSD with the OS on it and 2-1.5tb drives with Linux RAID1. It took me forever to Migrate this thing from 11.3 and some many steps I could not document them all. (Hindsight being 20/20 I wish I would have but it would have been a 2 page essay!).
Does anyone have any recommended opensource apps for timesheets? I've used Project Open ]PO[ and that sort of works. I also created my own openvz instance and thought it might be a nice addition to the apps. I was just wondering if there are other good ones out there.
