Questions about functionality

Forum:

Hi, I've installed several of your appliances and have found them to be impressive. So much so, I am interested in using your solutions. However, I have a few questions which I am hoping you will be kind enough to answer.

1. Currently, I use a server that has webmin and lots of modules installed. Do you have postfix, dovecot, squid, dansguardian, and so on?

2. Can this be installed on your core platform?

3. Do you have a firewall?

4. I do not like Amazon cloud and was wondering if your backup solution can be used locally on server?

Confusion re managing backups on Amazon Hub Site

Ok , here I go again ...

I'm a bit confused as to how the backup volumes can be managed on the amazon hub site.

Regular readers will now know that I'm using the lucid file server appliance.

The first back up of my current working system was done on 29-10-2010, and has an ID Label of 3 on the site. My appliance is set to do a full backup each month and incremental in between as is default.

LAMP font problem

Forum:

I posted the below on the Ubuntu forum, however I respost it here, because I am unsure to what extent I hitting a Turnkey issue rather than an Ubuntu issue.  For instance, it would appear that with Turnkey there is no "sudo" command, yet I can't ever remember coming across any Ubuntu documentation that doesn't expect "sudo" to be available.

Deki setup?

Forum:

I have been looking some at the different "wiki" based appliances.  It appears that the Deki appliance is really pushing for commercial upgrades to get functionality.  Is this the case?  Are there ways to take those sections out of the system (like reporting) so that you don't run into it all the time?

thanks for any guidance.

Wordpress site failing security audits

Forum:
I'm wondering if this is normal, or if there is something unique about my situation.

I recently spun up the latest copy of the Turnkey Wordpress (not the RC) appliance and soon started failing security audits from our main office. Below are some of the examples:

"Based on the banner returned by the remote host, the device is running a version of PHP 5 that is prior to 5.2.7 and suffers from multiple published vulnerabilities. Some of these vulnerabilities may lead to denial of service or code execution."
