Is this possible? Or should I be looking at using a docker or something like that?
Basically I have a working TKL fileserver system setup already (and its runing zoneminder also) but I am finding out that having a VPN is going to be essential if I'm ever to leave the house...
I have restored my backup of a VPS hosted elsewhere to a new cloud server but when I enter the ip address, all i get is a blank screen. Also the webshell is not accessible.
You'll immediately realise that I'm a newbie, sorry in advance if my issue comes from a simple settings solution. I'm using Wordpress on Turnkeylinux and installed WP-CLI.
So I decided to try out the Domain Controller app last night. Again, everything installed super smooth and fast. However, I noticed when i clicked on Samba File Sharing I got this message...
The configuration file /etc/samba/smb.conf was not found. Most likely Samba is not installed on your system, or your module configuration is incorrect.
Previously i was using owncloud on VM and it works flawlessly. So i decided to try way of using Owncloud through PROXMOX bcause it has some very good feutures.
I just having some configuration issue that unable to connect to my container. Even i had follow some guide out in the internet, the only thing i have accomplished that able to access internet through LXC but i cant access outside public network /LAN to my LXC. I believe its all about port forwarding process, but the thing i going through its so much confusing.
I recently discovered Turnkey and its plethora of app options....it is truely exciting. I have built quite a few file servers, so my first project was to try the Turnkey File Server. The install went extremely smooth using the ISO to install to a bare metal server. The server has 3 drives installed, so I installed the OS to a single drive with the intention of creating a RAID 1 with the other two drives.
