I was going through https://www.turnkeylinux.org/trac. It says repository access. Does it mean Git/hg/SVN repositories can be included for example projects used by say a company.
I would like to know the pricing details for "Revision Control - All-in-one code repository provided by TurnKey Linux". You could take from me a average load of 10 Users/Minutes load and an overall traffic of 10TB in and out for a month. Please let me know or direct me to the appropriate channel.
I just noticed that my backups haven't ran in 2 days, or so the hub says, so I ran a manual backup on a server with not a lot of data and it popped up saying "Backup in Progress" and then when it was finished I refreshed and it still says the last backup was over 2 days ago. This is with all of my backups on my account. There are no errors in the tklbam log either. I even checked to see if my CC was expired with Amazon and the account was on some sort of suspension and everything seems to be fine. Any ideas??
TransIP is hosting my TurnKey Linux VPSs, and they do a very good job. Unfortunately, they chose to no longer offer TurnKey Linux images for easy install on their VPS platform. Also, they don't enable you to upload your own ISO or raw image. This will likely be the same at most other VPS hosters. In this post I'd like to share how you can work around these limitations, and to install TurnKey Linux on such a VPS. This should work on any VPS provider that is using KVM for virtualization (Xen will likely also work).
I worship the turnkey concept in appliances as being a fast and brilliant way for hosting it myself and have the full control, but I am missing the image with a full media (display/streaming/coding/encoding) functionality.
I am thinking in terms of: one place for all media in original fomats (video, music, pictures) in all sorts of encoding (MKV, VOB, MP3, MP4, JPG, TIFF aso.) with lots of integration possibilities.
I have an idea that I think would be great for both the Turnkey Linux project and for the Raspberry Pi Foundation. I just posted on the following thread (my username is summersab):
