For some reason, external database enrolment is not working.  It isn't enrolling any students in any classes.  Assuming the settings for External Database Server Settings, Enrolment (remote) database fields, Roles, and Auto-creation of new courses are all correct, does anyone have any insight into why this is not working?  Are there any logs created for External Database enrolment that I could look at to gain some insight?

I recently setup the FileServer appliance. I managed to join it to an Active Directory domain (Win2003). Through Webmin I can create a share and assign permissions to AD users/groups. On a seperate Windows server I can connect to the FileServer appliance and see the shares, but when I try to open a share a login dialog box is displayed. The problem is, it won't accept any credentials. I've tried different AD users, entered in different formats. I've also tried Linux users on the FileServer appliance. No matter what I do it says "Login unsuccessful."

After installation I can see and access the HelloWorld repo, but I can't see how to add a new repo.

I'm trying to install the drivers for ZD1211. I've downloaded with apt-get install zd1211-source but that does not install the firm. I don't know how to go next with that command.

If i try to make both i get errors with missing functions inside the source.

ZD1211-firmware is not avaliable (it was but isn't)

In debian is avaliable :

http://packages.debian.org/sid/zd1211-firmware

Is there any posibility to get it working for this wonderfull distro??

I am trying to use a Wordpress VM as a personal library for engineering information such as PDFs, spreadsheets, images, etc. I like the search features of Wordpress, and the fact that I can categorize information as I choose.

The Turnkey Wordpress VM resides on a USB drive.

The problem arises when I move the USB drive from one computer to another, as the IP address changes. This breaks all the links to the media files in the posts.

For example, this works fine on my home computer:

This is my first go with virtualisation and I feel sunk already! When I attempt to import the fileserver VM into Virtualbox I get this message -

The machine is not mutable (state is PoweredOff)

I get the same result with VirtualBox on Ubuntu 10.04 and on Windows XP, and I have verified the download and redownloaded it several times. The only things that come up upon googling the error message seem to be to do with sharing folders and leaving VMs powered on.

I'm probably not doing something obvious because of my inexperience. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I have a copy of the fileserver appliance up and running, but need to change the port # of it since I already have port 80 being forwarded to another appliance running Confluence (an awesome program that would make a great addition to your appliances)..

I have my PDC setup in VMWare which works great and have also managed to join an XP client to the PDC

My problem is that for the life of me I cannot get any other users to logon - Only the default administrator account.

I have created some new users but they just don't show up on the list of Samba users even though I'm sure I have set them as smbusers.

I realise from Codehead's quick start guide that there are some "gotchas" so is there a step by step guide for successfully adding users so that they can logon via an XP machine?

When I tried to run zimbra-conf as follows

I got the following error

Failed to start slapd.  Attempting debug start to determine error.              
daemon: getaddrinfo() failed: Name or service not known 

does anyone know how to fix it
