Has anyone had success developing a patch? I am using a TKL Core VM to develop the patch and whenever I chroot or try running tklpatch on an iso, it fails because it can't resolve the ubuntu repositories.
I get errors like this when executing 'apt-get update':
I deployed a Turnkey LAMP appliance to VPS.net's cloud (which uses Xen virtualisation). From time to time the server (which is fully up to date) experiences what is reported on the console as "soft lockups", like below. I find this baffling. VPS.net support say this is a kernel bug with Ubuntu 32bit. Is this correct? Is there anything I can do to solve the problem?
The machine becomes unresponsive and an endless stream of these messages are spewed on the console:
I downloaded the VMWARE file for the Drupal Appliance. After which I got VMWare Player and loaded the file. Now I get this command prompt interface that i know nothing about. I thought there was a GUI. Please help me clear up this confusion.
I have deployed the project pier VA into a VM Ware environment. I have changed the disk space in vmware to 40 gig instead of the default 20, but I have not figured out how to get the OS to regonize the increased storage space. I do not have a lot of experience with linux, but am a quick study.
