I have just downloaded the tomcat appliance (http://www.turnkeylinux.org/tomcat). All started up fine, pretty neat appliance. I have one question thought, there doesn't seem to be any logging enabled and I cannot see anything in the /var/logs/tomcat5.5/ but I fail to spot any override of the default logging configuration.
I want to install an apache2 in my tklpatch. How can I stop apache2 in the lucid beta appliance? I use this appliance to apply a patch to the same iso.
I tried "/etc/init.d/apache2 stop" but the file doesn't exist!
Using Turnkey LAMP Stack, I can't get the PHP Apache module to print errors to the screen. I've set display errors to on both through the Webmin interface and directly in the php.ini file and it makes no difference. I've tried creating a custom PHP error log file with full permissions, errors don't get logged to it.
I made test scripts with obvious syntax errors and all that I get is a white screen. Good php scripts execute normally. Running a simple script with phpinfo() shows that all variables were set correctly.
I installed turnkey core on virtual box, and I want to use couchdb on it, but to do so I need Erlang (atleast I think I do). Problem is, every guide and tutorial I used to install/update erlang failed so far, so could you guys help me?
Hello, please forgive the basic question, but I am a Windows guy looking to learn some other things. I am wanting to install the Moodle appliance. Does it work by itself, or does it need some type of LAMP stack (such as the LAMP appliance)? Thanks for all of your help.
First off thanks for the great products. Your hard work is appreciated. I would like to upgrade my Bugzilla VM to the release of 3.6 but have not found a way to do that. Is there a easy way to upgrade?
Guys, be aware of this: if you run a TKLPatch that uses mysql-server, it won't work if you do an apt-get upgrade before installing. I haven't tried after installing btw. But I'm running tests right now and I get

Hi! Noob here. I discovered Turnkey about a month ago and I think is't fantastic. Top marks! However, I'm struggling to get to the Webmin interfaces on any Turnkey (Using mediawiki and projectpier). 12321 connections are refused, but I can get to phpmyadmin on 12322 fine.
