I am kind of getting mixed answers about how to setup, a domain and point it to the servers IP with Port 8080
What would be the easiest way to go about doing this? and to ensure that i can use example.com to this server running port 8080.
After i install observium from ISO, can i add other monitoring network tool like cacti? Is it observium for this version can sending alert via email? For the port, is it possible to monitor the bandwidth on each port?
hi from berlin ... turnkey looks amazing and i would like to install this for our networked electronic musicians studio. we are running win 10 or mac or KXstudio, wich is an audio distro built on top of ubuntu.
how do i install turnkey file server on top of an exisiting ubunutu system. is there a repository where i can install it from? or a .deb file? installing via disc image seems to be for new systems.
So hosting on premise and out Cisco ASA is constantly seeing/blocking traffic from external IP of server to external IP of server. Not sure what might be the issue but wanted to check if there was something amiss or if I needed to do packet sniffing to identify cause of issue.
I'm thinking of using the Trunkey Linux Wordpress distro to build an Intranet for my company. Before I install it I'm wondering how I should scale the storage. I'm going to be installing it as a VMware virtual machine and can build whatever disk size I need. But having never done this before I'm not sure how to decide.
The installation videos I've looked at all select a real small disk size, which I know would be filled up pretty fast under normal use. Is there a rule of thumb for this kind of decision?
