Hi Jeremy and the community, first thing first, id like to thank Jeremy for the hard work is doing.
I am trying to use the latest joomla turnkey container on proxmox for my personal website, however its quite challenging to get it tuned as out of the box the container comes with obselet php version, and not the recommended joomla settings for example: file upload size, max output time and so, (see screenshot). Anyways.
At this moment i try to migrate my website from Xampp to Turnkey version 17.1.
I ran into an issue to replace the SSL certificate which i am using now on Xampp. cabundle.crt , server.crt, server.key. I bought this certificate form my hosting provider and i want to use it in Turnkey, but in Turnkey i saw that i can only use a PEM certificate. Is it possible to replace the default certificate to my own certificate and how can i do that.
I tried using the following link, but i get a lot of errors, but no SSL.
Hello! I just started using the TurnKey Linux containers today in ProxMox and am trying to make this account so I can get an API Key for gameserver's DDNS and the backup & migration api calls. Anyway, my username's been around since 1998. Created it to play chess on games.yahoo.com/chess, lol
I am trying to use the bookstack appliance (turnkey-bookstack-17.2-bullseye-amd64 to be precise) in the context of a multi user setup. To this effect we would like to use our AD-based LDAP servers to authenticate against.
To some of my surprise the appliance does not come with the necessary PHP LDAP extensions. After a bit of searching I eventually managed to get it stop complaining about PHP-LDAP not being installed by doing an
I’m trying something a little stupid, but that’s how I learn. I have a lenovo thinkpad t-15g with an 8 core intel i9 and 64gb of DDR4 ram. I installed proxmox with vmware player 17, and then uploaded turnkey’s iso’s inside proxmox. The turnkey solutions have proven to be not only good products, but have taught me more hands-on lessons than anything else. I only wish proxmox, out of the box, could carry with it an internal browser so i don’t have to ssh into proxmox to install and configure the turnkey products.
I have a question about the automatic update on wordpress.
I have noticed that a plugin or a wordpress update does not update despite activating the automatic update.
I'm needing to upgrade php7.4, which is now deprecated, to php8.1 on LAMP stack, Joomla4 Stack, orangeHRM stack, etc. I'm new to linux, and love turnkey approach. It's slick.
Can I do this from the command line, and if so, how?
Trying to port my wordpress sites to the new appliance (17.1), and having some problems with postfix complaining about not being able to use TLS properly.
Looking at /etc/postfix/main.cf it appears to have changed a bit, and I'm wondering if that's what's to blame.
