Trouble getting file server to boot from iso.

New to Turnkey. 

D/L iso image, burned to dvd and booted dvd. Selected demo mode. Boot starts. Hangs at "[3.094012] Switched to clocksource tsc".

If I select install mode, same results.

Borrowed another PC. Works fine on it.

First PC is a Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 with a AMD Phenom II 965 and 8GB ram. Runs debian and ubuntu fine.

Any ideas as to what is causing this?

I have the TurnkeyLXC on baremetal with several APPs and really have been impressed with the ease of installation. I will be needing to serve via http/https more than one APP on a network limited to one public ipaddr.   I am attempting to use the nginx proxy_pass function and have been having quite a struggle.

I just installed one of your Bugzilla AMI's on AWS Marketplace and set all the admin accounts and passwords as per your instructions.    When I try to access the main page at http://<ip address> I get this: 

I have a turnkey OpenVPN vm (Virtualbox on local ubuntu server) running for a couple of months now with no problem.  It is a small installation used by a grand total of two people.

As of yesterday, clients can no longer connect. I tried using the IOS client as well as Tunnelblick on MacOS.

When I look into the syslog, I see the error:

VERIFY ERROR: depth=0, error=CRL has expired

A websearch on openvpn troubleshooting indicates that I need to use easyrsa to regen the crl using the command:

./easyrsa gen-crl

Sorry in advance for what is probably an easy solution but being the newbie that I am I haven't figured it out yet.  I've downloaded and set up a couple of apps that require a domain name during set up.  I'm running the apps via virtual box and I don't have a registered domain name (nor do I want to use one).  What setting(s) do I need to change to use the apps?  For example in phpbb I can see the front page but I can't do anything past that point because it tries to go to a domain name that doesn't exist.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

and I have similar issue. my previous LAMP server crashed after 6 years non-stop running on pentium 4 PC. It was so easy to maintain and reliable.

I just instralled proxmox 5.2 and tried using the templates the mirror has in the /proxmox/ branch but I get a "Cannot mknod: Operation not permitted" error on the tar.
I usually deploy kvm on most of the vms I play with on my proxmox box because I feel don't know enough. I'd like to be able to use containers rather than kvms, so I'd like to know if there's a simple way to use the other formats and which will be the easiest route for someone who knows just a little about linux.
Which way should I go? I'd appreciate any advice.

I'm Márcio, and i install a odoo appliance in virtualbox, this is for test porpose, i made the instalation of appliance, everythin ok, define the passwords on first run, and can login on webmin and adminer, but when i create a new database on odoo, i cant use that database, only the default odoo, but on webmin i see that the new database is created, how can i use the new database?

i want to enable mod_rewrite on my turnkey lamp installation. I did this:

a2enmod rewrite

service apache2 restart

but it still doesn't work for me!!

Can anybody help me? or should i switch to mamp?

I wanted to activate extended status on my wordpress alliance so I can monitor what goes on with apache with a monitoring tool. After some reading I get on to trying to do this.

But it doesn't seem to work. I get a 404 when trying to acces /server-status om my site.

I should mention that I installed nginx as a reverse proxy because of the load on my VM although this shouldn't affect the apache logging and reporting
