My TKL WordPress 15 server just became inaccessible following installation of security updates. I get a "database error" message when I try to connect to WordPress. I tried the usual rebooting but to no avail.
When I download a fresh copy of TKL 15 from this site and install it, everything works fine. If I follow the prompts at install time to install security updates, though, it kills WordPress and knocks it offline and I must start over again.
I have managed to get the Dokuwiki VMDK running, and love Dokuwiki. I want to install the upgrade Plugin by Andreas Gohr and have found it using search, but I don't have an option to install it. Instead the right column says Plugin directory is not writable.
What do I have to do to have the option to install plugins?
Version: OTRS v3.3.18
Mail Service: Microsoft Exchange 2013 CU15 2 Node DAG
DNS: A record that talks to the DAG IP Address (which is supporting two different Exchange nodes)
OTRS Certificate: Issued an internal Microsoft CA certificate replacing self-signed certificate
Desktop: Windows 10 (1803) 64-Bit (IPv6 NIC setting disabled)
When using confconsole and the Mail Relay setup option, I'm unable to enter an internal mail relay using the custom option. I enter the internal IP, leave the port as 25 and the username and password blank because this relay doesn't require authentication. I receive:
Could not connect with supplied parameters. Please check config and try again.
I have spent much of yesterday and all of today trying to get Samba set up to share files with Windows from my new File Server appliance such that the Windows user doesn't get prompted for a username or password. I am migrating from an older version where I was able to use security = share in the smb.conf but that is deprecated now and Webmin won't even save the file if that is in there.
There is a LOT of info on this on the web and I have read over a dozen posts about how to do it...most involve "security = user", "guest account = nobody" and "map to guest = bad password."
I haven't setup an apache server in quite some time and since all of my sites are on an old server running php 5.6, I thought it may be time to upgrade the server. So, I download a fresh oda of Turnkey Lamp and installed away.
I'm able to access the Webserver and Adminer via IP Addresses. I was able to setup the Virutal Host the way the old server had them. Typing in the domain name successfully gets me to the new server, however, it takes me to the default login page for Turnkey, not the root directory of the new website.
I've had a Turnkey Linux file server for a number of years and never had an issue. But the hardware is now having issues and I decided to build a new server.
I have downloaded both the 15.0 and 14.2 "Installable Live CD" images and neither will boot. I have verified the CD drive by booting another Linux distro live cd that I had lying around. Works fine.
I used Brasero on Ubuntu 18.04 to burn the image to disk. Am I missing something here?
Turnkey SuiteCRM 15.0 (SuiteCRM 7.8.20) - In Chrome, many times it is not saving changes when I click Save as both an Admin and a regular User. Sometimes the changes will save. Most times is not outputting any errors and acts like it has saved the changes I have made. See error in FireFox Mozilla page when try to save that says "Bad data passed in. Return to Home"
I have been using Turnkey SuiteCRM for about 2 years. Has been working well.
