I cannot host additional sites on TK WP v15

Forum:

Hi, Newbie here. I have deployed successfully a Virtual Turnkey Linux v15. I can access Webmin, Adminer and the default Wordpress install. I’d like to additionally host another eight sites on the same server install. Four of the additional sites are basic html sites and another three are “php / database” sites (non wordpress) and another full separate WP site.

V15 LAMP Long pause on Console Login

Forum:

The new LAMp V15 is in production for me now.... I have noticed that after it runs for about 4 or 5 days when I log in to the console it takes a really long pause after typing in my password.

I am worried that something is building up thats not getting cleaned up or cleared out....   what should I do to troubleshoot this?

Thanks so much for all your detailed and highly informative answers Jeremy!

Join existing domain with TKL?

Forum:

Good morning.  I've configured a Jenkins TKL with no issues, but was wondering if anybody could point me to some documentation for joining TKL appliances to an existing Windows AD Domain?  Thank you.

TKLBAM backup monitor?

Forum:

I started a TKLBAM backup early this morning and it's apparently finished - TKLBAM itself in the Webmin module shows the new backup, my S3 account shows the right number of backup files as well as the signatures and manifest, and tklbam-status shows this:
TKLBAM:  Backup ID #4, Updated Thu 2018-08-16 04:10

.  BUT...

There's still a tklbam-backup process chewing up 75% of two cores, and the Hub doesn't show the backup yet despite my refreshes.

V15 LAMP Total Noob questions - Filemin - Webmin

Forum:

Ok... Ive been using TKL for years.. but still consider myself a total noob when it comes to linux and TKL operations.

The Latest build V15 has Webmin like V14... but look very different and seems to be missing some things I was accustomed to using.  Namely a file editor for editing configuration files via filemin, and filemin has no .ZIP extraction option from what I can see.  I can do all these things from the console, but really like popping on the GUI sometimes to do stuff.

Software Packages

Forum:

Hi all,

I am new to Turnkey and was after some advice/help

I am in Webmin and am trying to install some software packages just to test out the system but I am running in to trouble.

I have tried the caldav server just to see what it is like.

It says it has installed it but I can't see from webmin where to access it.

I was wondering if there is something simple I am missing. Any pointers would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Upgrading TKL WordPress 13 to Jessie, Apache 2.2 -> 2.4 migration showstopper

Forum:

Self-hosted and tried to do an in-place Jessie upgrade of a TKL WordPress 13.0 appliance, and Apache failed due to having no automated migration from 2.2 -> 2.4 for the things they changed.

I'd really like to get upgraded off TKL13 but this has stood in my way for a couple years now.  I've looked at the Apache docs for the migration, but I don't know what applies to my situation and what doesn't.  I ran the upgrade on a snapshotted instance, which when it failed I reverted the snapshot to get it running again.
