I have installed the turnkeylinux PostgreSQL appliance on a Virtualbox VM. The installation default was to install with NAT but I was unable to SSH nor get to the various tools via the web from my Windows host. I then changed the networking interface to bridged
This might just belong over in the bug tracker bug I figured I should start here. I'm trying to build some of the 14.0 appliances and have been successful with a few (core, LAMP) but I'm running into problems with etherpad. TL;DR the install script for node.js seems to be broken (yes, I did do the git pull in common). My attempt to fix it is below but etherpad-lite eventually complains that it's not the right version of node.js
It does okay until it starts running the nodejs-install common script. Then I get this:
Hello , I have a probem to try to restore a backup of one of my servers , backup is successful in amazon , but try to restore to another server , I found this problem.
Hi. I’m struggling with a recently discovered peculiarity of tklbam. It appears that I cannot restore a backup generated in AmazonWS ‘availability zone’ s3-eu-west-1, corresponding to Region: Virginia, on a server originally backed up in AmazonWS availability zone s3, corresponding to Region: Ireland.
If I do traceroute to s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com it gets through consistently (I’m in the UK), whereas if I traceroute s3.amazonaws.com the packets seem to just get dropped in the ether.
Hi I have signed up for the paid plans for cloud deployment and backup and it says it comes with support by email . . . but I cannot find the support email address to which I can email my support issues.
I sucessfully got my Turnkey Linux LAMP stack up and running with the latest updates/upgrades. Managed to install VMware Tools and the latest Webmin 1.760.
I also have achieved to get the VMware Shared Folders working. They are mounted at boot time under /mnt.
I am strugling with some probably stupid thing that I can't figure out.
I have a "c:\www" folder on my HOST box shared and mapped on my guest under /mnt/www
