I've recently deployed the Turnkey SMF package you offer, but am having trouble with the upgrade packages.  The forum as you have it deployed is ver 2.0.2, and they are now up to 2.0.4.  I was able to sucessfully import the package into SMF, however it seems there is something wrong with the way that SMF is installed, as the upgrade will not install, or perhaps it's something I'm doing wrong.  Can someone with this running on ver 2.0.2 verify that the upgrade packages work with the way it's installed?

I followed your instructions the SSL blog and it worked great for the site, I'm using the Amazon Turnkey Lamp.

But now the webmin page gives this ssl error:

Error 113 (net::ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH): Unknown error

Also when I restart apache it gives me this error, which I guess is the cause of it:

 ... waiting apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.1.1 for ServerName

I have a turnkey mindtouch vm and ssh is behaiving very oddly.

If it try to connect via ssh it always connects to local host.

Ie if i type:

ssh myuser@myhost 

or 

ssh myuser@myhost.domain.lan

it always connects to the local machine rather then myhost.

it can resolve myhost correctly. FQDN has not effect either.

SSH is fully working on myhost I can connect from putty just fine.

I have a windows 2008 server so I used the cifs-utils package. Following installation and configuration a mount -a worked and my share was visible, readable and writable at the mount point on the turnkey box

For clone any modules on others systema such, (nfs, users & groups, and firewall) I use Webmin Exports.

But when try to restore file.wvm.gz show a message about webmin it's older version.

Failed to install uploaded module : Module exports requires Webmin version 1.600 or above

Also impossible upgrade webmin with apt-get ....

Any solution?

I've just signed up and am trying to launch a micro instance, I'm already using micros directly through AWS so they are working fine with my AWS account, I'm stuck though with the error message "Your Amazon EC2 account does not support Micro instances. Click here to enable it." I get a similar error when setting EBS also during server setup.

I have signed up for the $20 plan , so should be able to use both of these?

Hi, I have installed Lamp on amazon.

I went through my server log with a fine tooth come and have not found my root password.

I have found the keys but I have no idea how to use them.

I'm sure you guys hate getting people like me on the forum asking questions like ths.

Sorry if you have a tutorial in a obivouse location on your site. I have searched your forums to no end and have not found any help.

I was wondering if a TRUE FTP can be implimented in your next release of Turnkey linux LAMP stack, Wordpress does not support SFTP, and so I cannot auto install plugins and updates through the wordpress interface.
