Trying a restore of the nginx fastgi server. Currently runs on 50GB disk on VMware (not sure why such a big disk - it was just setup that way) - restoring to a Virtual box instance.
Now we gave the virtual box instance over 50GB disk space to be sure. But the full backup is just over 1GB. Its a proxy and doesn't do a great deal.
Having tried twice when restoring it gets part way through then appears to have filled the disk.
I want to learn how to build new TKL appliances, however I have limited time to both learn how best to setup a new application, and how to get it to build correctly with TKL. so I have decided that it would be best to learn how to build all the TKL things, in all the output formats.
I have Proxmox, so that I can test both KVM and LXC.
Hello, I have installed succesfully the virtual appliance Lighttpd PHP FastCGI v14.2 on Xenserver v6.2 using the ISO. It was very smooth. I am new to Lighttpd and I want to setup Wordpress on it. The first thing I did was to look into /etc/lighttpd/lighttpd.conf for the server root location.
Variable is set
server.document-root = "/var/www/html"
but there is no such directory and Lighttpd seem to serv index.php file from /etc/www.
I was recently asked via support how to customise the v14.2 Debian FHS, that isn't quite the case. The Debian package install puts things in slightly different places.
Thanks for your continued efforts with these VM packages. I was wondering if you could build a new Observium VM image, using your magic sauce please?
The last update details below:
Observium Community is distributed via 6-monthly .tar.gz releases under the QPL Open Source license. The most recent release is 17.9 (25th September 2017) based on Professional Edition r8859. It contains 731 commits and tens of thousands of changed lines of code since the previous release.
I've downloaded turnkey-redmine-14.2-jessie-amd64.ova and created a vanila VM.
As soon as the vm is configured (setting all the passwords and email addresses) and it powers on I start getting email alerts with the following subjuct:
When using the Fileserver appliance's WebDAV feature, I see no way to logout. The onlly thing I have found that works is to clear the cookies in the browser (Chome). Once I do this and reload, I am presented with a new Login popup.
Is there a reason there is no logout button as there is with Webmin, etc.
Firstly, Happy New Year! and thanks for the great work from which I have benefitted so much to date.
I would like to run Run Torrent Server through OpenVPN co-existing on the same core.
Although I realise that there must be previous attempts to do this, I can find no searchable reference to this on your site.
Being still very much a Newbie to Linux, I would appreciate some guidance about how to start, especially the right batting order for a fresh co-installation and anything NOT to do, please?
