I have reasonable experience with LDAP, and a little with OpenLDAP's implementation, but I'm new to TKL.
I'm having trouble changing the DC in the TLK OpenLDAP appliance from example.com to my company's domain name (from now on, mycompany.com) through phpLDAPadmin.
Using the Rename link for the DC object (cmd=rename_form&server_id=1&dn=dc%3Dexample%2Cdc%3Dcom&template=none) gets:
Hi, how do I install Sun Java JRE 1.6.0 on a Turnkey Linux 12.0? I am interested in adding Java to the Redmine appliance downloaded from Turnkey, but can't get through... All I'm getting is "Unable to locate package" and "has no installation candidate" in different variations.
Please help! What is the working sequence of commands to get JRE on the appliance?
I am new to TurnKey Linux and Owncloud, I am looking on how to add NTFS Mount with the TurnKey Interface for data storage for Owncloud on my current SAN. Does anyone have any pointers or direction as to where to find these docs?
A big help would be great and I would be extreamly thankful.
The MovableType appliance (which I was pleased to see available in your listings) installed quickly and without any errors or warnings - and I'm presuming that like all your others, it is intended as a complete and self-contained system.
I can go into the admin pages (within cgi-bin) and everything works faultlessly - yet the public site itself is simply unavailable, giving just the following:

Installed File Server - Simple Network Attached Storage - and was rather surprised when I got to the install updates stage to find out my network interfaces were not recognized. I believe these HP's use Broadcoms. Any suggestions?
I am using the Fileserver, TurnKey Linux 12.0 / Debian 6.0.5 Squeeze version.
I have installed mysql-server on this appliance which runs happily.
Due to space constraints on the server, I would like to change the default location of mysql databases (currently under /var/lib/mysql) to another directory, for example, to /srv/storage/mysqldb.
I have followed a number of tutorials to make this change, but every single time mysql fails to start with the changed configuration. If I go back to the default config, mysql fires up easily.
I thought I got it all settled. I have been pulling Amazon orders into Magento and occassionally I do not get any Cron Errors in the M2EPRO linkage that ties them together within Magento (1.6.2).
Sorry in advance if this is a dumb question. The main reason I am trying to use Turnkey is I really don't know much about Linux.
I saw an update available to webmin when I logged in and a message saying this would be the last update for this version as a new version (1.6) was available.
I tried running a few software updates but nothing was available.
