I have created a Tunkey MySQL instance on Amazon ec2 from the AWS marketplace. MySQL is running ok, I can connect to Webin on port 12321 and the shell on port 12320 but I cannot seem to connect to phpMyAdmin. I'm assuming its on port 12322 right?
The only thing I could think of was the security group but I checked that and it is allowing traffic through 12322 (plus I am using the same security group for a LAMP instance and phpMyAdmin is working on this instance).
I am not sure if it is this forum or the other one is best to post this.
I have been approched by a company to provide an internal wordpress appliance to run the intranet on. I have suggested the cloud but they insist on it being local.
I have been looking at using the Turnkey appliance for this (as long as i can comerciall use it)
However i have a support issue. I am ok supporting the basicals like wordpress etc, but not too comftable supporting the other deeper components.
I have searched for solutions but not found what I need - hence the post.
At the mo: I have a TKL WP working all nice and fine...
What I want to do: Allow a multitude of users to have seperate FTP accounts and for them to be able to upload/download from private directories: I want an account for a guy in the office to be able to see all directories and upload/download from any.
Integration of somesort into the website (a login and webview of directories) would be nice, however it doesn't need to happen
Yesterday I've installed a new WP instance and gave it the URL of 770.tlkapp.com. It worked OK for a few hours. Then, it stopped working and I all I get an error page: "The site you are looking for is currently not available".
So I've deleted the old instance and create a new WP instance - and this time gave it the URL of 7770.tlkapp.com. It worked again for a few hours, then stopped working with the same error: "The site you are looking for is currently not available".
My dev Joomla server has been hacked and now Turnkey 10.04 LAMP wont boot it hangs at initramfs prompt. I thought I was covered as had virtualbox snapshot but somehow thats got corrupted too. Can a kind person out there advise how to reinstall Tunrkey LAMP from the Iso but without losing the existing data in var/www/. Dont mind losing mysql etc but I have recent Joomla backups in the partition.
I am a new TKL user, a software architect and a previous shared hosting / dedicated hosting user, giving drupal and wordpress development services. While amazed by the performance, I find it hard to decide about the best configuration, and the number of servers needed.
Currently, I need to make the following decisions:
1. Add an SVN package to my existing appliance, or create a new appliance dedicated for SVN?
While amazed by the number of pricing options, I find it hard to find the price of a new appliance vs. the difficulty to configure SVN on an existing server.
I need help in installing and configuring OTRS from Turnkey Amazon AWS image. After i started a micro instance. I clicked on access your software link which it did not load any page. After searching the forum i tried turnkey-init.
Hi I've been looking for information on the LAMPStack regarding setting up an actual site with it but I can only seem to find the initial installation but nothing beyond.
