I'm just moving a website from a small instacen to a medium instance as it's a large website (more than 10,000 visits per day) which has been suffering on a small instance.
I thought to try a medium instance as in theory I could simply boot this from a back-up, but this didn't work out and as I've upgraded the site to joomla 2.5 I thought to boot a Joomla 1.6 appliance onto a medium instance wityh over double the RAM.
I just installed the TK OTRS appliance in a CT on PVE. I am able to remote into it and login as root. I can alo use the same root credentials and logon to Webmin.
When trying to log into the OTRS administration with the user "admin" and the same password as root, the login is denied.
On the TK appliance info page, it says: "Credentials (passwords set at first boot)".
Last month my credit card expired. nothing out of the ordinary, so when I got my new card I logged into amazon and changed billing details, then forgot about it.
Few weeks later the unsuccesful payment notices started and I was starting to freak out. I have 4 important websites being hosted on there after a lengthy test period.
After trying every credit card I had I was informed due to lack of payment my account was closed!!!
I kinda freaked out at this. My AWS account was fine but the backups were history baby!
First, let me specify that I am relatively new to Linu, and the only version i have toyed with is RHEL.
Second, the problem: I have been trying to use a single server to run multiple web packages to no avail.
I created new virtual interfaces in webmin, and I can reach the folder, but the server wants to send the index as a download, instead of running the scripts. I googled and found a couple of solutions i want to try, but I can't seem to understand how the server is configured.
Can someone please help me setup multiple servers on top of the LAMP stack in TKL?
Hi everyone, forgive me if I ask anything thats been covered elsewhere, ive looked around and havent seen anything specific, and have some rather unique questions/ideas.
1. I am running the plain basic file server, can I upgrade that to the torrent server with out having to do a re-install?
I have the drop in PDC working using VirtualBox. Everything seems to work fine. I can log in to the PDC from Windows 7 and it maps the home directory for me.
I want to share the home directory from the Host (Mac 10.7.4) for each user. This way the user can be on the PDC from Windows or on the Mac and have access to all their files.
