I am trying to deploy a Wordpress Appliance (wordpress-11.2-lucid-x86) on a medium AWS server (c1.medium, 5 ECU, 1.7G RAM) and am having trouble running under load. By default, the appliance is using the prefork apache install, with each apache2 process using 60-63MB of memory. I've already disabled every apache module that isn't needed by wordpress and brought this memory usage down to 55-60MB.  By default the MaxClient setting is 150 which would be over 8GB memory usage. I had to increase the MaxClient setting (at 250 right now) to get page load times to be under 10 seconds.

I tried to restore a joomla 1.6 turnkey backup to the cloud using the hub. It restored ok, but I am missing an important folder I have created in /usr/share.

How do the TKLBAM work in this regard? Are there any "special" folders that are not backed up and thus is not restored, or is this a bug?

when I try to log into the turnkey hub with my google account, I'm getting an OpenID failure message:

OpenID failure An error occured with your OpenID.
Please try Login or Sign up again.
OpenID authentication failed: Server denied check_authentication

I have TurnKey fileserver running and now i want to add Torrent server ,webserver etc.  I don't want to loose my current setting ,thats why i need to add apps then Reinstall complete OS .

Any idea will be very helpful .

I've just upgraded my Core appliance and am in the process of reinstalling servers etc.  I'm noticing some strange behaviour with Proftpd which is new (don't remember it happening with the old appliance versions).

I am moving a server from a small to a micro instance by creating a new server from a TKLAM backup, but after migration none of the 4 websites hosted on the server can access their respective databases. 

In fact after the move only the primary database had been moved at all. 

I have ftp'd the other three databases but now have ownership issues as they are now root instead of being owned by mysql.

Is there a quick fix for this perchance,

i need help transfering files from windows xp to turnkey core linux guest. fdisk -l shows only the virtual disk (/dev/sda*).

Please can anyone help!!!

Fun chronology:

1. I downloaded the Turnkey OTRS appliance and have been running it via VirtualBox for a few weeks to learn the system. I have, as such, learned the system decently well.

2. I demo'd the software to my boss and we decided to go live with this build.

3. We launched the Amazon cloud version of the Turnkey OTRS build.
