I have a server running the TKL File Server atop a Proxmox virtual environment (along with another appliance), and it all went fine for some months -- I was able to use it happily as a backup server for a Win 7 Pro workstation.
Now the W7P machine can't see the server anymore, while everything else looks fine: the server is up and running, accessible by HTTP, etc.: just the Samba services are unreachable.
Is it safe to enable more CPU Cores for a Turnkey-LAMP-Appliance in VMWare ESXi?
Are there any steps that should be done after enabeling more cores to ensure the systems stability?
Hi, I have run into a minor problem installing Wordpress to the LAMP app. Right near the beginning Wordpress will guide you through the creation of the config file if you haven't already created one. However, the TKL LAMP app doesn't allow WP to write that config file to the server, whereas most web hosts do.
I have installed the latest TKL dokuwiki appliance.
I would like to make a directory (for data) accessible on the apache server.
I read a previous post which said to place the "newdir/" in the var/www directory. This doesnt work. I followed the link to webroot and i made "newdir" there. Then you go directly into Dokuwiki and you are prompted -if you want to create a new wiki page called "newdir/"
In the last couple of days when I log into the Hub I get this pop up displaying the following text;
Amazon is validating your payment details. This process usually takes between 2-15 minutes. If this message still appears after 15 minutes, click here for details and follow the recommended steps.
It never goes away and clicking on the link takes me to a page to generate keys???
After having migrated to a micro instance I have noticed that the SuperCache plugin for Wordpress reports that mod_expires and mod_headers are not enabled. When open a shell and type e.g. "a2enmod expires" it does say it's enabled. Any other people experiencing this or know where the error could be?
I get the following error when trying to do a backup on my newly initiated micro instance (it worked fine ont he old small server). How can this be fixed?
