Short story:Let's say I have the following 2 lines in my di-live.d script

#!/bin/bash
echo "hello"

di-live fails on that because its trying to get the output of that script into the d-i menu.

throwing the following exception:

File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/debconf.py", line 96, in command
    raise DebconfError(status, data)
debconf.DebconfError: (20, 'Unsupported command "hello" (full line was "hello") received from confmodule.')

How can I bypass this without modifying di-live.py?

Long story:

I have been trying to install imagemagick and magickwand for my php environment on a lamp appliance.  When I dig down I get the following error:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  libexpat1-dev: Depends: libexpat1 (= 2.0.1-0ubuntu1) but 2.0.1-4+lenny2 is to be installed
E: Broken packages

It also says libexpat1 is installed and is the newest version.  I think it may have something to do with the custom sources list the Turnkey uses.  Does anyone have an idea on how I can go about getting this package installed?

Roundup Appliance (Version 2009.10) contains roundup version 1.4.4-4+lenny1

[Q1] I know roundup version 1.4.4

What is meant by the added suffix "-4+lenny1"? Where can I find informations on which modifications were made by this particular patch?

[Q2] Is it possible to update roundup within the turnkey appliance (virtual machine)?

Roundup now reached version 1.4.11 !

Is there an easy way to upgrade the OTRS on Turnkey?

I've tried using the instructions on the OTRS website and I keep hosing the VM and have to start from scratch.

I have installed the LAMP on the VPS.NET and I have the problem with the SQL password. I cannot log in to the SQL like administrator (root). The error message is:

Hi there i'm very new to this appliance scene (i've only spent a few hours on it) but i'm not new to vmware (we use it at work heavily) however I am a programmer by "trade", and one who uses linux barely, (mostly Windows based) so there are a couple of questions I have. I appreciate these are probably covered elsewhere but my googling collided with lots of OT info and i'm not sure how to phrase myself right, so I find myself here. :-)
