Hi, I have a new Joomla 3.0 website on a TKL Debian 6 Squeeze. When I try to upload any component through Joomla BackEnd, it doesnt allow to save and modify anything. I thing that this is a permission issue. If not, please tell me how to fix this.  I send you another image where you can see the permissions on both, the carpet (DIF) and files created. Is the owner involved in order to allow/denie the saving and deleting files and directories? How can I change the owner from: root:root to: www-data:www-data to whole website???

I have downloaded your WAMP image and installed it. Everything seemed to go well.

Is it possible to get a fresh copy of the wordpress virtual host file that is in the /etc/apache2/sites-available folder? I thought that I made a copy of it but am not able to find it, and I modified it and apparently muffed it up.

I have the Turnkey Wordpress Appliance installed on a VMWare vSphere system, and I have put my old Wordpress site on there.

It is no longer sending me emails for anything, including user registrations and Newsletter sign-up, and I am not sure where to look.

Any help appreciated.

We dont understand why we cant open webmin and webshell anymore with our url using

https://www.someip.com:12320 – web shell

https://www.someip.com:12321 – webadmin

We tried stopping and starting and rebooting and it still doesnt work.

What's the workaround now ?

We hope to not lose confidence in TK appliances

Is this a bug from TK ?

I would like to know if it is possible to restore a copy ovf of virtual machine (where I have the wordpress test) in a cloud Server (where would the wordpress's production). Or you can make a copy of the database and restore it on the server?

We're still new, hence a newbie question.

We got the TK Server running but we see the option "new EBS volume" setting, which is not set at this time.

We bought the budget plan.

We need to install a component in Joomla.

Do we need to get a new EBS volume just to store data for our Joomla component ?
