Hello,

I've set up a VM with TurnKey MediaWiki and am using bridged networking. I can access the server just fine internally by going to the IP address, but when I forward port 80 (apache), it is not connecting. I'm a little mystified why I can reach the IP internally from another machine, but port forwarding fails.

I am new to web min and i am just having a really hard time with emails.

and i was wondering if there is any place where i can see a list of my domain names and the emails on that are in that domain.

Look I couldn't find how to place this as a comment or anything on the Redmine appliance page, so I'll put it here, to save anyone else a few hours of head banging....

If you wanna make a new repo that uses git for a new project in Redmine, after setting up the git repo manually, and in anyway way you like, you must do these two things, if you want to be able to access it using the git:// protocol:

#touch /srv/repos/git/newRepoName/.git/git-daemon-export-ok

and

#ln -s /srv/repos/git/newRepoName/.git /var/cache/git/newRepoName.git

Tried it once, didn't seem to cause any problems - other than I suddenly had a whole boat-load of modules I didn't want or need, probably because it installed the new version in a separate directory with a different name.  Are there any known issues that I should be aware of, and is there anyway to make it *not* install umpteen dozen new (and unwanted) modules?

I am trying to change the variabale setting " lower_case_table_names=1"

at the moment it is set to "0"

When I try to change this in the Webmin front end, it says variable unknown

I  cannot seem to locate the my.cnf file to do this either  

Any suggestions ?

after i opened all Conections (5432) i still can't log in to the PG-Server on EC2.

not with the local phpPGAdmin and not with PGadmin

it always comes the Message "Password authentification failed for user "postgres"

i didn't changed any password, the applicance is installed fresh.

Is there any other Password i should know?

I have successfully downloaded installed the zimbra appliance on an old ibm t30 in my office here. I'm impressed it went sooo smooth.

 I 'took the plunge' yesterday, and created a turnkey drupal instance on Amazon.  I can see the instance running, everything looks ok...but now what?

What is the 'url' for the ubuntu control panel?  Drupal admin?

I installed the Ror app, several times on a static ip, and can not get the sample app to come up in the browser, any clues?

new (linux) user - Got LAMP up and running, and it works well.  Somehow easier than I would of thought. 

The newest version of Firefox will not allow for the download of the Torrent Server Handler plug-in.  I was curious if there was a new version of the plug in, in the works or if downgrading ff was the best option at this point?
