I've set up a VM with TurnKey MediaWiki and am using bridged networking. I can access the server just fine internally by going to the IP address, but when I forward port 80 (apache), it is not connecting. I'm a little mystified why I can reach the IP internally from another machine, but port forwarding fails.
Look I couldn't find how to place this as a comment or anything on the Redmine appliance page, so I'll put it here, to save anyone else a few hours of head banging....
If you wanna make a new repo that uses git for a new project in Redmine, after setting up the git repo manually, and in anyway way you like, you must do these two things, if you want to be able to access it using the git:// protocol:
Tried it once, didn't seem to cause any problems - other than I suddenly had a whole boat-load of modules I didn't want or need, probably because it installed the new version in a separate directory with a different name. Are there any known issues that I should be aware of, and is there anyway to make it *not* install umpteen dozen new (and unwanted) modules?
new (linux) user - Got LAMP up and running, and it works well. Somehow easier than I would of thought.
The newest version of Firefox will not allow for the download of the Torrent Server Handler plug-in. I was curious if there was a new version of the plug in, in the works or if downgrading ff was the best option at this point?
