Recently I reconfigured my network and needed to change my TKL FS's IP Address. I wasn't thinking and went into the Webmin and changed it in the Networking section. It saved but after a reboot the server was no longer accessable on the old or new IP address.

So I accessed the confconsole and attempted it there. When I enter the new address and save it I get error "eth0". Same if I attempt DHCP.

The strange thing is when I open the IP screen the IP settings are correct. If I cancel the gateway and DNS are now blank.

Noob here... Cannot map or browse shared folders on an instance of AWS TKL Fileserver using a Windows machine over the internet.  I can ssh and Webmin to the TKL Fileserver, so I know it's working somewhat.

I haven't done anything beyond spinning up the machine image.  Seems like I should at least be able to access the shares from Windows using root credentials.  How do I troubleshoot this?  TIA

Hi there,

I'm just moving a website from a small instacen to a medium instance as it's a large website (more than 10,000 visits per day) which has been suffering on a small instance.

I thought to try a medium instance as in theory I could simply boot this from a back-up, but this didn't work out and as I've upgraded the site to joomla 2.5 I thought to boot a Joomla 1.6 appliance onto a medium instance wityh over double the RAM.

What's by best course of action to migrate to a new machine ?

I just installed the TK OTRS appliance in a CT on PVE. I am able to remote into it and login as root. I can alo use the same root credentials and logon to Webmin.

When trying to log into the OTRS administration with the user "admin" and the same password as root, the login is denied.

On the TK appliance info page, it says: "Credentials (passwords set at first boot)".

What am I missing?

Last month my credit card expired. nothing out of the ordinary, so when I got my new card I logged into amazon and changed billing details, then forgot about it. 

Few weeks later the unsuccesful payment notices started and I was starting to freak out. I have 4 important websites being hosted on there after a lengthy test period. 

After trying every credit card I had I was informed due to lack of payment my account was closed!!!

I kinda freaked out at this. My AWS account was fine but the backups were history baby!
