I was experimenting with running TKL FileServer as NAS in a lxc container for Proxmox, and I was unable to log in as a guest from either mac os or windows until I manually edited the smb.conf as follows:
#restrict anonymous = 2
map to guest = Bad User
The first line exists must be commented out by hand. The second I added by hand to the [global] section. I could not find any webmin option related to either of these in the GUI.
hello, id like to know how to add a subdomain on a concrete5 or silverstripe cms,
the situation is this:
I have a static public ip that is working with my cms (mywebsite.com), however i also like to install a little application on the same server but with a subdomain (subdomain.mywebsite.com), however i dont find the tools on the webmin adminstation page to achieve this. would you please guide me .thanks
Hello! I have spent way too much time trying to make this work without success, so I come here humbly to ask for help. This seems like it should be simple, but it is not -- at least for me. All I need is a user account for SFTP access. I created such a user, and the user is a member of these groups:
ssh
sudo
www-data
This user can login but cannot hit the wordpress folder over SFTP. The var/www folder and wordpress subfolder are owned by user www-data and group www-data with permissions set to 0766.
Today I am playing around TurnKey Owncloud on your website, Everything looks great, but an error show: cURL error 60: SSL: no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name '192.168.10.216'
To try update newer update 10.10.0.. No go to able to update it..
Also, I play with Netcloud 16.1 from your site and install.. However Netcloud came perfectly, But what been appeared before and after update. It say bcmath error..
After installing the EC2 instance from the image and trying to connect directly, I am getting an error message that I can't connect. Is the SSH the only way to connect to the instance?
Where is Nextcloud 17.1. There is a Owncloud 17.1, but I would like desperately to renew my Nextcloud 16 instance. Does Nextcloud 17.1 have a special problem to produce it?

i was pleased to see 17.1.1 as a template.
Since I have built all my containers on turnkey containers,
I'm now trying to upgrade. (core, media, files and wordpress are still to come).
The simple dist-upgrade doesn't seem to work ?!
Are the repositories still included with updates, or do I have to enter them manually now?
Can you maybe give me a hint how it works ?
I hope I don't have to redo everything. :-(
I am running a clean installation of VirtualBox (6.1.38) on Windows (W11 Home 64-bit) and have imported the TurnKeyLinux XOOPS VM (16.1-buster-amd64) but am unable to install VBoxLinuxGuestAdditions (supplied with VirtualBox download), getting the following error messages:
/opt/VBoxGuestAdditions-6.1.38/bin/VBoxClient: error while loading shared libraries: libXt.so.6 : can not open shared object file: No such file or directory.
I've been having some difficulty SSL into tracks; I'm happy to buy an SSL or us Lets Encrypt, possible for a helping hand on that by pointing me to information that can help me.
